Since when does Weissenhaus exist?

The eventful history of Weissenhaus Castle Estate and its owners dates back to the 16th century. Read the entire story here.

Weissenhaus, as it is to visit today, opened in July 2014 as the Weissenhaus Grand Village Resort & Spa by the sea. In 2023 we then decided to change the name to Weissenhaus Private Nature Luxury Resort.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

Resort guests: A generously arranged carport facility is available in front of the Gatehouse reception. We offer all guests our valet parking service. The parking service is free of charge.
Day guests: Parking for day visitors is available on the signposted dike car park by the sea via Seestraße (K48). There is a direct access to the restaurant Bootshaus.

CAN I VISIT WEISSENHAUS AS A DAY GUEST AND HAVE A LOOK AT THE ROOMS?

Weissenhaus is a private property and exclusively accessible to resort guests. Therefore, we do not offer guided tours. With respect for the privacy of the guests, the buildings are not open to the public.

I TRAVEL WITH MY CHILDREN, IS THERE ANYTHING TO CONSIDER?

In recent years, Weissenhaus' target group has become more and more established and is 95% adults seeking peace and relaxation. For this reason, we have decided to be an Adults Only Resort and welcome our guests from the age of 12. In the case of an arrival with children under the age of 12, accommodation is excluded and the agreed cancellation conditions remain valid.

CAN I BRING MY DOG WITH ME TO WEISSENHAUS?

Dogs are welcome (on request & after confirmation from the resort in certain room categories, max. 1 dog per room). Our 75 ha large grounds offer perfect opportunities for extended walks with your four-legged friend. A cosy basket, a water bowl, a feeding bowl and a hearty dog snack are prepared for your pet in the room. The gourmet restaurant Courtier including the terrace, as well as the entire castle, the Gentlemen's Lodge including terrace and the Manor's Spa are not accessible for dogs. Your dog is very welcome in the Restaurant Bootshaus. Please always include your pet when reserving a table and our staff will choose the ideal place with enough space for you. If you would like to enjoy a dog-free afternoon or evening without leaving your four-legged friend alone in the room, please contact our reception at least 48 hours in advance and make use of our dog sitting service.
A highlight on holiday with your dog is the dog beach belonging to the resort. Due to the vastness of the grounds, we would like to ask you to keep your dog on a leash on the premise. We charge € 40,00 per dog & night for the overnight stay of your four-legged friend, as well as the preparation & post-processing of the room.

CAN I BUY A VOUCHER?

We are happy to issue monetary vouchers or vouchers for our different accommodation packages from starting from a value of €100,00, for all restaurants, the Schlosstherme (Manor's Spa) and the resort itself. Please note that we do not offer vouchers for our breakfast restaurant Kavaliershaus. You are welcome to book your voucher with the desired amount by phone +49 4382 9262 0 or online.

WHAT MEANS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash payment, debit card, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diner, JCB. Declarations of assumption of costs are also possible on request.

Golfing with a view of the Baltic Sea has a fascination all its own: from the green, the eye wanders into the blue, then on into infinity. Fresh sea air inspires the game - golf can hardly be more beautiful.

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR STAY

WHICH BUILDING IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

Each building has different preferences, so we ask you to tell our reservation a little more about your expectations of Weissenhaus and your needs, so we can make the perfect recommendation.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE BETWEEN THE INDIVIDUAL BUILDINGS?

The Weissenhaus attractions such as our Manor's Spa, the Bootshaus restaurant or the Courtier gourmet restaurant can be found in different buildings. In order to be able to reach them comfortably, our BMW electric fleet and golf cart chauffeur service are unreservedly available to you from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and free of charge on the premise.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN TO MY ROOM OR SUITE AND WHEN DO I HAVE TO CHECK OUT?

Our mission as passionate hosts is to provide you with a wonderfully relaxing stay and also to make you ideally familiar with all the amenities and special features. Therefore, please understand that arrivals at our extensive castle estate are generally possible between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Our colleagues will have your room ready for you from 16:00. On the day of departure, your room will be available until 12:00 noon.
 
You are very welcome to enjoy the Schlosstherme on your day of departure, after your check out until 02.00 pm. If you would like to extend your use of the spa´s facilities our Day Spa Ticket is available to you at a ticket price of 119 EURO per person. Please don´t hesitate to contact us at SPA reception.
On the day of arrival the castle spa is not available for use before check-in.

ARE THERE ROOMS WITH A VIEW OF THE SEA?

The resort is located directly on a 3km long natural beach. The impressive grounds adjoin the sea.

WHICH ROOMS HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO THE SCHLOSSTHERME?

All our rooms and suites in the castle have direct access to our 2,500 square meter castle spa through an underground tunnel. You thus enjoy the benefit of a bathrobe walk to our spa area.

WHICH ROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING?

Some of our categories are equipped with air conditioning in the bedrooms. Below we have summarized a brief overview:

DO YOU HAVE HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE ROOMS?

We have a Junior Suite in the Gardener's Lodge which is handicapped accessible. The Schlosstherme Spa is not a barrier-free area.
Our castle is the only building that has an elevator to each floor. However, the rooms in the castle are not equipped for handicapped persons.

DO YOU HAVE SMOKING ROOMS?

With respect to the exquisite materials and textiles in the rooms, we do not offer smoking rooms. Enjoy your cigarette on the terraces or in the stylish smoker lounge in the castle, where we have a well stocked humidor for you.

DO YOU OFFER FREE WIFI?

Certainly we do, gladly and free of charge. Please note that the only WiFi free area is the Manor's Spa. Due to the enormous size of the property, you may access different transmitter areas, so that a new registration is necessary.

IS THERE A DRESSCODE? WHAT KIND OF SHOES DO I NEED?

WEISSENHAUS is a place where you can feel at ease and relaxed. Therefore, the following lines are only suggestions, with the exception of the Schlosstherme.
COURTIER: fine, classic, elegant, distinguished
BOOTSHAUS: casual, relaxed, natural
ASIABAR & cinema: relaxed, sporty elegant
MANOR'S SPA: bathrobe, swimwear, slippers. Our sauna landscape is considered a textile-free zone.
On historical cobblestones and wide avenues lined with lime trees, we recommend sporty footwear to enjoy and explore the resort in all its glory.

I ARRIVE WITH AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE, IS THERE AN E-CHARGING STATION?

We will be happy to charge your electric vehicle at one of our charging stations and add a fee of 30 euros per charging process. Please understand that we cannot guarantee a free charging station. The costs for charging are variable and can be adjusted to current energy prices.

DO YOU OFFER A BIKE RENTAL SERVICE?


We offer our resort guests an e-bike rental.
 
The rental fees amount to
38€ per day for an e-bike.
 
Please let our colleagues at the reception know if you would like to pick up your bikes.

CAN I ORDER FLOWERS AND PRESENTS WITH YOU?

We have our own floral workshop at WEISSENHAUS and are happy to fulfil your special floral wishes. Please inform us at least 48 hours before arrival about your ordering wishes.
We would also be happy to send you our suggestions for sweet little gifts such as our estate honey or unforgettable, shared experiences such as a helicopter flight to Hohwachter Bucht.

DO YOU OFFER LAUNDRY SERVICE?

We offer in-house laundry and ironing service.

DO YOU HAVE HYPOALLERGENIC BED LINEN/ALLERGY SUITABLE ROOMS?

We are happy to provide hypoallergenic bed linen and ask for your information when booking, but we do not offer rooms for allergy sufferers.

DO YOU OFFER TURN DOWN SERVICE?

As a true gem far away from everything that weighs us down and binds us, Weissenhaus is aware of its responsibility for our environment. Therefore, we conserve resources, live a mindful way of using them and begin doing so ourselves.
 
We therefore only enter your room once for daily cleaning and towel service. The process of cleaning towelling devours enormous amounts of water and pollutes the environment as well as the oceans tremendously through the use of cleaning agents.
We therefore ask for your understanding that we "only" change your towels every 24 hours.
 
In each standard set-up of our rooms you can expect:
2 fluffy bathrobes
2 SPA kimonos
3 large & 2 small towels as well as
3 compresses
 
However, should you have a linen request in the evening, please do not hesitate to contact us at -1718.

IS THERE SKY TV? DO YOU HAVE A SELECTION OF DVDS? DO ALL ROOMS HAVE A BOSE SYSTEM? (MEDIA EQUIPMENT)

Yes, you will receive Sky TV in every suite and every room. A film selection of 120 cinema classics is available for you in the cinema. You can enjoy the sound of BOSE system in some rooms.

DO YOU HAVE ROOFED WICKER BEACH CHAIRS?

Yes, we are happy to offer them to our guests at a charge during the beach chair season (May - September).

HOW MANY RESTAURANTS DO YOU HAVE?



At WEISSENHAUS we offer culinary delights in four different restaurants. Whether a menu in the 2-star Michelin restaurant Courtier, taste experiences in direct beach location in the Bootshaus or Asian worlds of flavors in the Asiabar - our culinary delights of the region and the whole world are waiting to put a smile around and in your mouth.
 
Our gourmet breakfast takes place in our restaurant Kavaliershaus.


 
 
 
 


 

I WOULD LIKE TO DINE AT THE COURTIER. IS THERE ANYTHING TO KEEP IN MIND?

Sophisticated dishes, perfectly prepared by hand and excitingly presented, that is the promise of enjoyment for an evening in the multiple award-winning Courtier.
We would like to present you here in advance the current exemplary menu in 6 courses by Christian Scharrer, which was created with the best products of the season and we serve you in our Courtier.
 
Should there be any allergies or intolerances, which we may check for you, or should you wish a vegetarian menu sequence, we kindly ask you to inform us accordingly at least 48 hours in advance. We thank you for your understanding that an individual adaptation of the menu is not feasible.
 
Prior reservations are strongly required. You are welcome to send them to us at any time to courtier@weissenhaus.de. Thank you very much.
Should you not be able to avail of your reservation, we kindly ask you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for your understanding that we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of €150.00 per person in case of late cancellation.

DO I HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION IN THE RESTAURANTS?

Prior reservations are strongly required in all our restaurants! You are welcome to send them to us at any time via email. Thank you very much.
In order for us to be able to block your desired dinner time, we kindly ask you to make your reservation in advance. To offer all our resort guests the unique taste experience, we ask for your understanding that we offer two reservation times in the evening (06.00 pm or 08.30 pm) in the restaurant Bootshaus.

I AM NOT A RESORT GUEST. CAN I STILL ENJOY BREAKFAST AT WEISSENHAUS?

We offer our gourmet breakfast exclusively to our resort guests.

DO YOU OFFER ROOM SERVICE?

The vastness of the park and the listed buildings without storage areas do not allow for the usual room service here. However, if you succumb to the cosiness of your room and don't want to visit one of our three restaurants, we are happy to offer you a cold selection. Please understand that freshly prepared drinks cannot be served in your room. The free minibar and coffee & tea selection is available for you to choose from. Of course we serve wines, champagne etc. bottled on site. In the Gartenvillas and Orangery Suites there are also wine cabinets curated by our sommelière with our suggestions.

DO YOU OFFER VEGETARIAN CUISINE?

Our kitchen team will gladly take individual wishes into consideration, as well as any allergies and intolerances, as far as this is possible for us. We kindly ask you to inform us at least 48 hours before your arrival.

Vegan alternatives are available on request for your breakfast or in the Restaurant Bootshaus. At the Vital Bar, in the Sushi Bar and in the Gourmet Restaurant Courtier, we do not offer vegan cuisine.

If you have decided on an overnight package including SPA services, please let us know your preferred time of the treatment. If we do not hear from you, we will automatically reserve available times for you.

IS THERE A GYM?

In our Schlosstherme, a spacious fitness area with a wide variety of equipment for strength and endurance sports is available to you. The fitness area can be used during the opening hours of the Schlosstherme.

CAN I USE THE VITAL BAR AT ANY TIME?

Our Vitalbar is open for you from 02.00 pm to 06.00 pm. Please note our dress code of the castle spa and feel comfortable in your swimsuit or your fluffy bathrobe.
