Regionality

To conserve resources, we prefer to buy goods, services and fresh products on our doorstep or in the immediate neighborhood.

For example, we purchase all our dairy products and cheese in our restaurants from the family business "Hof Fuhlreit", which produces under the best agricultural conditions here in Schleswig Holstein. They do not use genetically modified seeds and feed, but rely on lush grass, maize, legumes and various types of grain from their own cultivation for their animals.

Other types of cheese are supplied by the Itzehoe-based farm "Kober", which provides us with regional products in Demeter quality.

We obtain fruit and vegetables as well as fresh herbs from the nearby "Obstgut Schönborn" (epona farming) in Eutin. Our own plantations ensure a sustainable and almost climate-neutral supply of fresh produce.
